Research & Evaluation Work Group

Lead:Channie Mak

The Research & Evaluation Work Group is tasked with defining measurement tools in keeping with the Network‚s mandate of improving quality, efficiency, choice and access to care.

Current focus:

  • Development of evaluation tools for Network members & other stakeholders and for the Network Steering Committee to be annually disseminated for feedback and assessment.

  • Compilation of a quality indicator inventory gathered from various agencies and associations including the National Hospice Palliative Care Association and Accrediation Canada. Once completed, this tool will serve as an excellent resource for Network service providers.

  • Collaborating with neighbouring LHINS in the development of a pilot project designed to improve the standard of hospice palliative care in order to decrease dependency on hospital visits.
